Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What does it mean to be saved?
Answer: The Bible says no matter how you live, you cannot live up to the standard and character of God (Romans 3:23). Since we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, we are doomed to death, for the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). But God loved the world so much He gave His son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. You can be saved from death and saved into eternal life through accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved (Acts 16:31). You can be saved through faith in what Christ has done for you!
Question: How can I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?
Answer: If you desire a personal relationship with the One who created you and loves you no matter what, and who wants to spend all eternity with you, pray from your heart, believing, and you will be saved! Here is a sample prayer;

Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus fully paid the penalty for all my sin by dying at Calvary, and that He rose from the dead and lives together with You. Thank You for Your grace to save me even though I am undeserving. I surrender my heart to You. Please show me how to start living for You. Amen.

If you prayed a prayer like this, believing in your heart that you need Him and accepting the price He paid for your sin, welcome to the family! You are encouraged to learn more about the One who loves you so much by reading the Holy Bible. You will also want to start fellowshipping with other believers. Find a Bible believing, Bible preaching Church, and attend regularly.

God Bless you!
